Applications to retake the NCED exam are now available on our "Apply" page.
The NCED exam scheduled for February 2, 2010 in Baton Rouge, LA has been canceled. The next NCED exam will be April 21, 2010 in Nashville, TN. Applications are now being accepted until March 30, 2010. For more information on this exam, as well as the dates of other future NCED exams, please go to our "Apply" page.
ATTENTION: All Examinees
The passing score on the NCED exam is 80%. For those receiving a PASSED result on the 10.28.09 administration of the exam in Philadelphia, please accept our congratulations. Your NCED certificate will be shipped to you in January, 2010, with a five-year effective date of 1.15.10. For those receiving a NOT PASSED result, an analysis of the categorical area(s) on the exam in which you experienced the greatest number of incorrect responses will be provided to you in the coming months, for purposes of helping you prepare for your exam re-take. All examinees will receive a follow-up letter in the next few weeks acknowledging individual exam score results.
